On the training ground of the military parade for the 70th anniversary of the founding of new China, the team from the Navy Submarine Academy is particularly eye-catching. This team is the youngest group in the military parade this year. Among them, a naval soldier named Zhao Jiale is from the College of Electronics and Information Engineering of SUEP, who joined the army in 2018.
Zhao Jiale, a member of the Communist Party of China, from Class 2016262, majoring in Optoelectronic Information Science and Engineering, once served as the League branch secretary of the class and vice chairman of the student union of the college. During the school period, he won the second-class scholarship of SUEP, as well as the honorary titles of Excellent League Member, Excellent Student Cadre and Excellent Volunteer of SUEP. He was recruited in September, 2018. After joining the army, he performed well in all aspects and was selected as a member of the parade team to show the spirit of the people’s navy.
In an interview, Zhao Jiale said: “Through participating in the training, I have a deeper understanding of a soldier’s sacred mission, and I will shoulder the heavy burden and strive to win honors for the country and the army.”
