The 20th“FLTRP Cup” national English debating competition was held at China Foreign Affairs University on May 20th. The competition was hosted by Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press and co-sponsoredby the Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Youth League, All-China Students’ Federation and Beijing Foreign Studies University. Debaters Sun Yu and Yang Can, who are from School of Foreign Languages and Computer School of our university respectively, formed a debating team and won the 3rd prize in the nationalfinals, directed by Zhang Wen, a teacher from School of Foreign Languages of our university. The team exhibited the active spirit of students in our university.
