On the morning of May 7th, Jovanovic Branimir, curator of Nicola Tesla Museum in Serbia, visited SUEP. Luo Ying, the subeditor of Shanghai Culture Press, and Tan Huiming, a researcher from Shanghai Foreign Affairs Office, as well as other related people also came together to visit our school. Li Hexing, president of SUEP, presided over the meeting.

Li noted that Serbia had signed bilateral cooperation documents in various fields with China in recent years, which has attracted high attention from the international community. Nikola Tesla, a Serbian-American inventor, physicist, mechanical engineer and electrical engineer, was known for inventing the alternating current, power transmission and substation systems. SUEP hoped to promote the international exchange and cooperation between SUEP and Serbia by commemorating this great scientist.

According to Jovanovic Branimir, hundreds of inventions made by Nikola Tesla have become an integral part of our lives. The Nikola Tesla Museum is the only scientific and cultural institution in the world that generalizes Tesla and his inventions, so it can provide valuable information to scientific workers in various fields.

The two sides held in-depth discussions on the details of various international programs, laying a good foundation for the international exchange and cooperation between SUEP and Serbia.
