On May 17th, Xu Weiqing, the deputy director of the Academic Degrees Office of the State Council, Luan Zongtao, the director of the Academic Degrees Management Office and researchers of the Office came to our school for investigation and guidance.
Firstly they visited the school. Then, Xu Weiqing and the other people went to the No.6 Conference Room on the 9th floor of the Administrative Center to hear the report on the progress made by SUEP in constructing the doctoral degree granting unit and the discipline of electrical engineering for doctoral degree granting.
Li Mingfu gave a speech on behalf of SUEP. He warmly welcomed and sincerely thanked the distinguished guests to visit our school and guide our work. He promised that SUEP, as a university specializing in energy and electricity, will make new and greater contributions to local economic and social development.
