2018 Innovation and Entrepreneurship Activities for College Students across the Taiwan Strait were organized by SUEP in Shanghai from June 28 to 30, including student competition and president forum two parts. Nearly 130 teachers and students from Tajen University, Asia University, Chaoyang University of Technology, East China University of Science and Technology, Shanghai Ocean University, Shanghai University of Electric Power and other universities submitted 24 innovation and entrepreneurship works focused on smart city for the competition, which adopts such technologies as big data analysis, smart home care and UAV cruise.
Besides, the wisdom and creative education forum was hosted for university presidents across the Taiwan Strait to together discuss the cultivation of innovative and entrepreneurial talents. At the forum, Li Yaping, the deputy district chief of Yangpu District, Shanghai, and Li Mingfu, secretary of SUEP Party committee delivered a speech separately. After that, a theme report was respectively given by Li Yangling, the deputy secretary of SUEP Party committee, and Wang Junfa, president of Tajen University.
