From November 23 to 28, guided by the Political & Ideological Education Department of the Ministry of Education, hosted by Shanghai Municipal Education Commission, and undertaken by Donghua University, the 2018 Shanghai College Counselors’ Professional Competence Competition was held in Donghua University.In total, 100 candidates from 51 colleges and universities in Shanghai attended the competition.
At the beginning of November, SUEP selected Cao Xiaosheng, a counselor of the College of Foreign Languages, and Lu Zhen, a counselor of the College of Economics and Management, to participate in the competition, and both of them entered the semi-finals, demonstrating the spirit and professionalism of SUEP counselors. Finally, after a fierce competition, Cao Xiaosheng won the second prize, with the total score ranking the 5th.
For a long time, the competition has been served as the platform by SUEP to improve counselors’ quality and competence. Every year, the school attached great importance to it to promote the construction of counselors by actively preparing for it, thus achieving great results.
