On November 15th, the “2019 Energy and Power Technology Innovation Shanghai Forum” was hosted by the Energy and Power Technology Innovation Center of SUEP on Yangpu Campus. The theme of this forum was “the development frontier of energy and power technology”. The forum was chaired by Professor Fu Yang, the vice president of our university.
Li Hexing, president and the deputy secretary of the Party committee of our school, made a speech at the opening ceremony. He welcomed the experts and thanked them for their support and guidance. He hoped that the forum can further strengthen multi-party cooperation on scientific research to continuously promote the development of energy and power technology, and at the same time to improve the scientific research level and influence of the university.
Wang Shuxiang, chief economist of State Grid Corporation of China, Zhang Qiping, the former chief engineer of State Grid Corporation of China, Ruan Qiantu, general manager of State Grid Shanghai Electric Power Company, Professor Mei Shengwei from Tsinghua University, Professor Cheng Haozhong from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Yang Libing, director of the Third Exchange Division of Beijing Power Exchange Center, Professor Zhuo Fang from Xi’an Jiaotong University, and Professor Chen Xinyu from Huazhong University of Science and Technology made an academic report at this forum. Specially invited guests from relevant departments of Shanghai Municipal Government, power grid enterprises and power generation enterprises, and heads of relevant departments of our school conducted face-to-face communication.
Through building a communication platform, the 2019 Energy and Power Science and Technology Innovation Shanghai Forum aims to share the latest research results, discuss the frontier development of energy and power technology, and make positive contributions to the development of energy and power technology.
