Recently, The Recommendation for Establishing a Training Base for Energy Officials in Countries along the “Belt and Road” written by Shi Shuai, a teacher of our school and member of China National Democratic Construction Association (CNDCA), has been comprehensively adopted by the central committee of CNDCA and submitted to the CPPCC.
Focused on the construction needs of major electric power projects in the countries along the “Belt and Road” and the development needs of national energy strategies, the recommendation is made to build a SUEP-centered training base specifically for energy officials in those countries along the “Belt and Road”, on the three aspects of innovating training models, sharing cutting-edge technologies and combining development concepts. Meanwhile, based on the promotion of advanced new energy technologies, the training base is to make Chinese voices heard, publicize Chinese standards, and serve the country’s “Belt and Road” Initiative.
For a long time, the Party committee of the university has attached great importance to the work of encouraging non-Party intellectuals to offer advice and suggestions, and now significant results have been made.
