Our school convened the First Representative Assembly of Staff and Faculty & the Third Session of the First Representative Assembly of Trade Union Members at the Auditorium on Yangpu Campus from June 2 to June 5, with a video conference held at the Meeting Room of Academic Building. The meeting was presided over by Xu Kai, the deputy secretary of the Party Committee of SUEP, the vice president of the school and chairman of the trade union.
President of SUEP Li Hexing made a report at the conference, reviewing and summarizing the work and achievements made by the school in 2019, meanwhile deploying work tasks and pointing out what to focus in 2020. Based on the report made by Zhang Chuan, general accountant of SUEP, the meeting assessed the public affairs of the school in 2019, and conducted a satisfactory evaluation for the work of the trade union, the use of union dues and the completion of practical projects in 2019.
During the group discussion and deliberations, delegates to the conference also put forward many constructive opinions and suggestions on such aspects as promoting comprehensive education reform and personnel system reform, increasing foreign exchanges and cooperation, as well as improving service management level.
The meeting ended with a closing address made by Li Mingfu, secretary of SUEP Party committee.
