SUEP Held a Senior Seminar for Energy Power Talents from the “One Belt, One Route”Nations

    October 31 witnessed the opening of the senior seminar for the energy and power talents from different nations along the “One Belt, One Route”countries. Twenty electric power experts from nine countries, namely, Burma, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Mongolia, Laos, Indonesia, Malaysia, Poland and Russia, gathered around for three weeks of communication and research activities in the field of electricity and energy.

    Wong Peifen, the vice president of our university, hosted the opening ceremony.  Lee Hexing, the president of our university, delivered a speech to express our warm welcome to the presenting guests and leaders and wished further cooperation and communication with the countries. Siti Nugraha Mauludia, the Indonesian General Consul in Shanghai, was invited to present the senior seminar and expressed his congratulations and cooperative attitude to promote the exchange and cooperation between SUEP and the Indonesian Universities and power enterprises.

    The seminar is a project approved by Shanghai Municipal Education Commission. It can help the attendants understand and learn the current status and technology of China’s power industry.
