The finals of 2016 Shanghai University Counsellor Professional Competence Contest by the Shanghai Municipal Education and Health Committee, the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission, ended in Donghua University on November 26, 2016. 97 contestants from a total of 49 colleges and universities in Shanghai participated in theContest.
The Contest aims to further promote the professionalization of university counsellors. It isan effective carrier and a good platform to show the team spirit, professionalism and professional competence of university counsellors. To fully prepare for theContest, Students AffairsOffice of SUEP organized the preliminary contests within the university in the first half of 2016.In the second half of the year, chosen candidates were organized to make more active preparation for the Contest.
Through the strong cooperation of the colleges and the dedication of the participating counsellors, SUEP contestants Cao Xiaosheng from the College of Foreign Language and Ma Guoxiang from the College of Electronics and Information Engineering, with their solid theoretical knowledge and excellent spot performance won the second prize and third prize in the Contest, showing thehigh spirit and superb professional competence of the counsellors in SUEP.The Contestalso further strengthenedthe communication between counsellors in SUEP and other universities.
