SUEP and Tesla Advance Cooperative Innovation on Industry-Education Integration

On November 26, the “Signing Ceremony of University-Enterprise Cooperation Agreement Between SUEP Continuing Education College and Tesla University & Opening Ceremony of Special Skills Training Class for Employees” were held at No. 103 Room in the Academic Building on Lingang Campus. Liu Yang, president of Tesla University, and Tao Ying, secretary of Party general branch of the Continuing Education College, signed the university-enterprise cooperation agreement on behalf of the two sides respectively.

Liu Yang said, in line with the principles of resource and strength sharing as well as common development, the two parties reached an agreement on improving employees’ special skills, order-based training multilevel students, and particularly on jointly constructing new energy automobile industry college, and the experiment and training base. He hoped that the comprehensive enterprise-university cooperation with SUEP will help Tesla upgrade its talent training mechanism.

The first special skills training class for employees officially opened after the signing ceremony. More than 300 people participated in the training, and all of them were selected through Tesla’s examination. They will systematically learn electrical engineering, electronic engineering, mechanical engineering, automation, management and other professional knowledge. In addition to customized courses based on the needs of the enterprise, a joint defense between SUEP and Tesla was specially held to enhance trainees’ ability to solve practical problems.
