At 9 o’clock on the morning of July 9, the 2020 Undergraduate Graduation and Degree Awarding Ceremony was held at the Student Activity Center on Lingang Campus . At the same time, for the first time, the whole process of the ceremony was live-streamed on Bilibili (EUTV) and Douyin(SUEP_1951).
Li Mingfu, Li Hexing, Li Yanling, Xu Kai, Feng Jinzhang, Huang Dongmei and Zhang Chuan, leaders of SUEP, and more than 2,000 graduates, representatives of teachers and parents attended the ceremony on site and online. The graduation ceremony was presided by Xukai, the vice president and deputy secretary of Party committee of SUEP.
On behalf of SUEP, Li Hexing expressed his warm congratulations to the graduates, and high respect and heartfelt thanks to their parents and teachers. He pointed out that graduates who are about to embark on a new journey will have many topics to choose when they write their thesis about life, but there is only one tenet: that is honesty. Professor Mi Yang, representative of teachers, hoped that the students who are going to the society can be such a person that is willing to serve the country, dedicated to his job, and keeping pace with the times. Wang Chaochen, representative of graduate students expressed his sincere thanks to parents, teachers and friends.
The degree awarding ceremony was held subsequently, which was presided over by Huang Dongmei, the vice president of SUEP.
