On the occasion of the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day, Shanghai Guangqi Drama Art Center entered our school with the original large-scale drama Continuous Rain on the evening of October 8th, enriching the cultural life of teachers and students in our school and enlivening the festival atmosphere. The special show was held at the Performance Hall in Student Activity Center on Lingang Campus, and more than 400 teachers and students watched the performance on site.
Based on real people, the play Continuous Rain shows the protagonist -- an ALS person's perception of life. Even misfortunes happened one after another in the protagonist's life, but he still harbored hope and lived a dogged and optimistic life. His positive attitude resonates deeply with the audience and enables them to have a deeper understanding of their own attitude towards life.
Although the characters in the play were common people in real life, the performance artists interpreted them wonderfully and made the story majestic. Down-to-earth character image instantly shortened the distance between actors and audience. The audience were deeply moved, and tears like continuous rain came down!
Go against the wind and grow towards the sun. The drama provides a high-quality art feast for teachers and students of our school, and guided them to establish a positive attitude towards life.
