On October 26, US News released the Global University Rankings 2022 with the coverage of 85 countries and over 40 academic domains. With 38.2 points our university is ranked No. 1050 in the 2022 Global University Rankings, and No. 110 in the university rankings of China mainland.
Up till today the top four authoritative world university rankings are as follows: Times Higher Education Impact Rankings, ShanghaiRanking’s Academic Ranking of World Universities, QS World University Rankings, and US. News World University Rankings. This year US News World University Rankings took into consideration the following elements: global research reputation (12.5%), regional reputation (proportionally 12.5%), released essays (proportionally 10%), published books (2.5%), academic conferences (2.5%), standardized citations (10%), total citations (7.5%), the number of highly cited articles (top 10% of the most cited articles, 12.5%), and 10 percentage of highly quoted articles (among the top 10%), international cooperation (10%), the number of highly cited articles top 1% --most frequently cited in their respective fields (5 %) and the percentage of highly quoted articles-- top one percentage cited in each field (5%).
