The direct ethanol fuel cell, as a kind of new fuel cell, boasts various advantages, which has became the research focus and hotspot in the area of new energy. Recently, Professor Xu Qunjie and his team in the College of Environmental and Chemical Engineering have made new progress in the research of anode catalyst of direct ethanol fuel cell. On October 4th, the top international journal--Advanced Energy Materials reported the latest research results. It was also the first time for our school as the sole unit to deliver research results on the top international journal, which indicates that the energy electro-catalytic materials research of our school has reached advanced world standard.
