Recently, directed by the College and School Department of Central Commission of Chinese Communist Youth League, and co-hosted by China Youth Daily and People's Daily, the selection of 2017 National Social Practice Projects of “Bringing Three Things to Rural Areas” (bringing scientific and literacy knowledge and medical service to rural areas) for students from thousands of colleges and secondary schools came to an end after a series of procedures, such as work declaration, qualification screening, network voting, expert review and so on. In the end, the project of Alleviation by Photovoltaic Power Generation from the College of Electrical Engineering of SUEP was awarded as the Most Influential Project in China and Luo Chenlin, a student from College of Electronics and Information Engineering was named the “Volunteer with True Feelings of China”.
The practice teams of both the College of Electrical Engineering and the College of Electronics and Information Engineering fully combines the practical conditions with their own professional advantages to explore new measures, paths and modes to alleviate poverty in the poverty-stricken areas in Central and Western Regions.
