The final of 2017 Shanghai Foreign Students Poetry Reading Competition was held on November 19th on Yangpu campus, with the theme of “Meaningfulness of Poetry, Poetry of Friendship”.
Foreign students from 34 countries and 19 universities actively took part in the competition. According to the results of expert scoring and online voting participated by 100000 people, 9 individual programs and 9 group programs were selected from 112 programs to enter the final.
Under the instruction of the Ms He Yuhong and assistance of Youth League Committee and other relevant departments of SUEP, Owen Susanne, a student from Mongolia won the third prize in the final by the poetry of The Moon at the Fortified Pass.
