On September 28, vice president Huang Dongmei attended an event by the name of 2022 China-ASEAN Energy and Electric Power Vocational Education Group Conference and Carbon Peaking, Carbon Neutrality, and Integration with Production and Education Forum, which was sponsored by China-ASEAN Energy and Power Vocational Education Group and hosted by Guangxi Electric Power Vocational and Technical College.
With the theme Building up a Green and Low-Carbon Community for Shared Future and Seeking Development through China-ASEAN Cooperation in Energy and Power , the forum attracted wide attention of dozens of higher authorities of power companies, power companies, and the concerned colleges and universities, among which there are the Educational Bureau of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Experts Committee on Political Development and Public Participation of Thailand Senate, China Electricity Council, Guangxi Grid Co. Ltd、the Electricity Board of Prachinburi Province, Thailand, Southern China Power Grid and so on.
She elaborated how and what achievements we have achieved by taking the initiative to adapt ourselves to dock on the new requirements for the national economy and the national developmental strategies of energy and power and in cultivating high-level talents with strong conviction and beliefs, broad international vision and general aptitude at different levels, and strive to keep pace with the development and reform of the concerned industry. Huang said that our university is ready to make contributions to strengthening China-ASEAN cooperation in education and building up a closer China-ASEAN community of shared future.
