On the morning of September 16, the unveiling ceremony of Linian Stone and Taishan Stone (landscape stones) was held on the LinGang new campus. SUEP president Li HeXing, the vice presidents Feng JinZhang, Huang DongMei, and the general account Zhang Chuan attended the ceremony; the SUEP alumnus, teacher and student representatives, nearly 50 persons, were also invited to present the ceremony, which was presided over by Feng JinZhang.
Feng JinZhang briefly introduced the origins of the two landscape stones: Linian Stone was donated by students from the original power faculty, who enrolled in the school in 1986, and Taishan Stone was donated by the Guangdong Alumni Association. Shi Xiangdong, as the alumnus representative of the original power faculty, expressed his gratitude to the school. The alumnus representative Zong WeiDong on behalf of the Guangdong Alumni Association, wished the school to develop rapidly. In Li HeXing’s speech, he expressed his sincere welcome and heartfelt thanks to the alumni for their donations on behalf of the whole school.
The school leaders awarded the donation certificate and the donation nameplate to the alumnus representatives. A group photo had been taken to mark the occasion in front of the two landscape stones respectively.
