Politeknik Negeri Medan, Indonesia sent a delegation of 6 people to SUEP on May 18, led by its President Muhammad Syahruddin. SUEP President Li Hexing met the guests and exchanged ideas on possible ways of collaboration, such as preparatory courses for electric engineering majors in Medan, hosting Medan students in SUEP for Bachelor degree, providing training programs for Indonesian power companies, student and faculty exchange programs, etc. After the meeting, the delegation visited SUEP Smart Grid Demonstration Center, Power Plant Automation Simulation Lab, and so on. Later two institutions will talk in detail concerning further cooperation.
